How to customise and manage quote templates

NOTE: Ongoing use of multiple quote templates is only available on the Pro plans after the free trial expires.

Accessing and Starting a Template

  1. Go to QuotesQuote templates.

  2. Click on the template.

NOTES:

  • A reminder will appear that any customisations made will apply to all future quotes using this template; click Got it.

  • For existing users, the default template is based on current quote settings. For new users, it is mostly blank but includes sign-up information like name and email address.

How to set up or edit a template

  1. Edit the template name, by clicking on the template name in the Template field, entering the template name, and clicking Save.

  2. Use Branding & design to

    1. Adding or Editing Business Details

      1. Click Branding & design to enter the business details for this quote template.

      2. On the Brand tab, add a logo and enter your business information, such as:

        • Your name

        • Business name

        • Address

        • Phone number

        • Email address

        • Business number (ABN)

    2. Styling the Quote Template

      1. Click Branding & design on the right side of the template to open the design section.

      2. Upload the business logo and a header on the Brand tab.

      3. Change the stripe or heading color by clicking 'Stripe colour' or 'Heading colour', then choosing from the palette or entering the hex color.

      4. Select your preferred font on the Font tab.

      5. On the Design tab, you can hide or unhide specific fields, columns, or the local currency.

    3. Other Customisation Features

      1. Attaching files: You can set additional files (like terms and conditions) to be automatically included with every quote created from that template

      2. Payment details: Add or edit payment details at the bottom of the quote template.

      3. Footer: Add or edit the footer content at the bottom of the template.

How to delete a template

NOTE: You can delete templates, but the default template can’t be deleted.

  1. Go to QuotesQuotes templates.

  2. Find the template you want to remove.

  3. Delete it using either method:

    1. Hover over the template, click the three dots, then select Delete.

    2. Open the template, click Options, then choose Delete.
