How to create and edit quote templates

Navigate to the Quote templates page by clicking Quotes, then Quote templates

The first time you open the default quote template, this screen will appear as a reminder that any customisations or data entered on the template will appear on every future quote using that template.

After reading, click Got it

To start, click on the default template

NOTES:

  • For existing users: The default template is based on the existing quote settings

  • For new users: The default template is mostly blank, but it will contain the information you entered when signing up, e.g. the name and email address

Editing the template name

  1. Click on the template name in the Template field.

  2. Enter the template name

  3. Click Save.

Adding/editing business details

  1. Click Branding & design to enter the business details for this invoice template.

  2. Add a logo and enter more information about your business on the Brand tab.

such as

  • Your name

  • Business name

  • Address

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Business name (ABN)

NOTE: You can also display the Business name only and leave the Your

name field blank.

3. The fields can be reordered by clicking Reorder.

The handles will appear to reorder the fields.

4. Click Done once the fields are arranged to your liking.

Styling the quote template

  1. Click Branding & design on the right side of the invoice template to open the design section

  2. The business logo and a header can be uploaded on the Brand tab.

  3. Scroll down to change the stripe colour, click on 'Stripe colour', or to change the heading colour, click on 'Heading colour'.

    Then choose from the palette or enter the hex colour.

  4. Choose your preferred font on the Font tab

  5. Unhide or hide fields or a column, or the local currency on the Design tab.

Attaching files

Additional files (e.g. your terms and conditions) can be automatically included with every invoice created from that template.

Add or edit additional notes

Enter notes like T&C in the notes field

Any changes to the quote templates are automatically saved and will appear on future quotes.

NOTES:

  1. Templates can be updated by navigating back to the templates page

  2. An existing quote can’t be used to create a new quote template
