To add a percentage discount
Create a new invoice
or open an existing draft invoice from the main Invoices section
The Discount section is with the invoice summary
Discount is entered as a percentage number. Click on the Discount section and enter the desired percentage discount. The discount applies to the total amount on the invoice.
The total will be adjusted accordingly. Click out of the discount box, and the $ amount of the discount will also be displayed on the invoice.
NOTES:
If the Discount function is NOT USED, it will not appear on the invoice a client sees.
