There are two formatting options to display time entries as line items on an invoice:

  1. Separate entries by date - each timed item is separated by date and not consolidated on the invoice - the relevant date is added each individual line item which appears on an invoice.
  2. Consolidated by description - timed entries with the same description allocated to the same project will be consolidated into one line item on the invoice showing the total time/cost for all items.

To set how time entries are displayed on an invoice

Navigate to Settings > General settings

Invoice the project from the Timer page

Option 1: Separate entries by date

The time entries will appear as line items grouped by date with the same description

Option 2: Consolidated by description

The time entries will appear as line items grouped by the same description
