How to add GST-inclusive totals in Invoices and Quotes

The default setting for invoices and quotes is GST (Exclusive) or adding GST @ 10% of the total entered.

Rounded quotes and invoices can also be set to be GST inclusive, which includes GST as part of the total entered.

There are two ways to set the GST inclusive on an invoice/quote by enabling it

Enabling the GST-inclusive option on templates

1. Navigate to the Invoice templates page by clicking Invoicing, then Invoice templates

Or Quote templates page by clicking Quotes, then Quote templates

2. Click on the template

3. Click the option GST (Exclusive) on the right side menu

4. Choose Inclusive (include GST in my rates)

5. Click Save

NOTE: Any changes on the invoice/quote templates are automatically saved and will appear on future invoices/quotes.

1. Navigate to the Invoices page by clicking Invoicing, then All invoice

and create an invoice

or open an existing draft invoice

OR navigate to the Quote page by clicking Quotes, then All quotes

and create a quote

or open an existing draft quote

2. Click the option GST (Exclusive) on the right side menu

3. Choose Inclusive (include GST in my rates)

4. Click Save

NOTE: The change will now show on that invoice/quote only.
