How to manage super funds

Your super contributions must be paid to a specific super fund (e.g., Hostplus or Australian Super). You may even change funds over time. Rounded makes it easy to track super contributions made to specific funds.

Remember, if you are eligible and want to claim a tax deduction for your personal super contributions, you must first notify your fund that you intend to do so by completing a “Notice of Intent to Claim Form”.

Here’s some more info from the ATO (Link). Please ensure you talk to your financial adviser or accountant for qualified advice relating to your own personal circumstances

How to add a super fund via the Super contributions section

  1. Navigate to the super section by hovering over the Deductions menu on the left, then click Super contribution

  2. Click Manage super funds

  3. Enter the super fund

  4. Click Add

  5. Click Done

The super fund will be deleted without warning.

NOTES:

  • Clicking the delete icon will immediately remove the super fund from the list. Follow the steps to add super funds if a super fund is accidentally deleted.

  • If a super fund previously assigned to a super contribution is deleted, the super fund will also be removed from those super contributions.
