Create and send a quote
:

1) Open the mobile app and log in

2) Tap the blue plus sign

3) Tap New quote

4) Tap and choose a client to create a new quote for.

If you need to create a new client as part of creating the quote you can:
 
     a) Tap New client

     b) Fill in the details:

     For individual clients, complete the following fields:

  • Name - Type in the name of individual you will send your quote/invoice to.
  • Company Name - Type in the business name if applicable.
  • Client colour - Assign a colour code to your clients.
  • Email - Type in an email for the individual client. This email is used by default for invoices and quotes.
  • Phone - Type in a contact number for the client.
  • Currency - Select the currency you will use to bill/invoice the client in.
  • Address - Type in a mailing address for the client. This address is displayed on your invoices and quotes.
  • Invoicing prefix - Type in a unique prefix for your invoices. This prefix is displayed on your invoices. For example, for Client A, you could use the prefix CLA.*

       For company clients, complete the following fields:

  • Company Name - Type in the client company name. This name is displayed on your invoices and quotes.
  • Client colour - Assign a colour code to your clients.
  • Currency - Select the currency you will use to bill/invoice the client in.
  • Address -Type in a mailing address for the client. This address is displayed on your invoices and quotes.
  • Invoicing prefix - Type in a unique prefix for your invoices. This prefix is displayed on your invoices. For example, for Client A, you could use a prefix CLA.*
  • Contacts - Select or add a new contact for a company client. By default, all your invoices and quotes will be addressed to this contact at the company. You can add multiple contacts for a company client.

Note: The Invoicing prefix field is only available when the numbering system is set to
           Add client prefix

5) Tap the down arrow to edit information

  • Edit client details
  • Date quote is issued
  • Valid until date
  • Quote number

6) Fill in the quote details

  • Description
  • Items
  • Discount when applicable

You can add items manually or choose from the preloaded items by tapping Select.

7) Attach any files or documents relevant to the quote

8) When you are ready to send the quote to your client, tap Ready to Send

9) Type in the email, subject, and message and tap Send Now.

If you ticked the BCC me option, you will get a copy of this quote via email.

To send a previously created draft quote:

1) Tap More

2) Tap Quotes

4) Tap the quote you want to send under Draft 

5) Follow steps 5 - 9 for sending the quote.
